Austin Movie Theaters

Ever been cruising around Austin, desperately looking for some cinematographic entertainment, but just had no clue where to find it?

Well, suffer no more!

The Austin Movie Theaters Map has just made it into our Daily Cup Maps section.

Check it out!

The Daily Cup Maps

A new section of joy, entertainment and information has emerged:

The Daily Cup Maps

To this section I will successively add managed Google Maps with locations of interest under a certain theme.
The first addition is the Daily Cup Maps Overview, which groups together all locations ever referred to by the Locate It! link found in some posts.

Enjoy!

What I found interesting....

I added a new widget to the section on the right.
Sometimes I run across some good reads on the web that I find so interesting that I think everybody should indulge themselves.

Obama Supporter

One lonely Obama supporter tirelessly cheering for Obama on the day of the Texas Primary / Caucus.

This picture was taken at around 8am. By the end of the primary, around 7pm, she will have gathered over 150 more Obama supporters around her cheering and encouraging further supporter to cast their votes a second time that day for Obama.

The Hillibillie supporters will only have gathered some measly 20 people......booooo!!!

English or Deutsch?

Recently, I was asked by a few people why I keep a blog in English and not in German.
As one may conclude, that question originated from German speakers with little or no knowledge of the English language.

And in deed, it is a valid question, which prompted me, once again, to actually ponder as to which audience this blog is supposed to address.
The answer is: I don't know yet.

As a matter of fact I started this blog with no specific purpose. Hence, I did not have a specific audience in mind. In addition to that: this blog really does not get such huge amounts of traffic, neither from the anglo-saxon world nor the germanic world. So it, as far as I am concerned, the language is not an issue yet.

I shall assume that there are more English speakers than German-only speakers amongst my humbly small audience at this time.

Therefore I will continue in English - which, by the way, helps me to keep my written English skills on this exquisite level.
However, I may through in an occasional German post.
Just keep visiting!
